Outside of work
When I’m not helping businesses, working on my own business, or spending time with family & friends, I’m the Scoutmaster of Troop 1941 in Columbia Falls, the 2007-2009 President of the Rotary Club of Columbia Falls, a Leadership Flathead graduate (2006), a board member for the Columbia Falls Swim Team, and the web guy for Columbia Falls’ First Best Place community redevelopment group. I also enjoy supporting Karen Ulmer’s Columbians Jazz Band at Columbia Falls High School whenever I can.
Our family is pretty involved in Scouting and the Columbia Falls Swim Team. In fact, between the two of them, we rarely have an unplanned weekend from mid-May to mid-August. The troop camps year round, of course, but in the summer both groups get a lot busier.
When all of those things aren’t presenting themselves, I try to spend time with some combination of the family, my camera and the wide range of outdoor opportunities here in the Flathead.
Once in a great while, I even get around to taking my golf clubs out for lunch.
